My Jord Watch, a piece that transcends time

Cassia in Olive and Aegean Blue Linked Here

Jord Wood Watches

I’m pretty sure that as soon as your cell phone is out of contract someone hits a button that causes your phone to self-destruct.  Mine has decided to not hold a charge for long, leaving me without a clue about what time it actually is.  Being late is my pet peeve.  When I used to live in Los Angeles the traffic was unbelievable and if you left late you would never make up the time.  I can literally feel my soul ripping apart at the thought of being late. So, when JORD Wood Watches approached me to pick out a watch I was instantly relieved to have an place that the time of day could be prominently displayed.  I could almost hear Scarlet O’Hara calling out “As God as my witness, I will never be Late again.”  Some people might call that dramatic but, what do they know? 😂

Cassia Series

I didn’t know I could love a watch as much as the Cassia Series in Olive and Aegean Blue I picked out.  I have a bohemian natural style and the piece is perfect with all of my maxi dresses and  gypsy influence pieces I often pull together.  Not only will it go with everything, but the roman numeral concave dial gives an elegant look to the gorgeous time piece.   The Olive wood is an exquisite in color and an exotic wood native to Europe.  I was also excited to find that they are a local Missouri Company who is based out of St. Louis.  I got this item shipped to me in two days and they offer free shipping worldwide.  They offer beautiful styles for both men and women from sporty, to boho, to Chic.’

Engraving Option

Another wonderful benefit they offer is engraving.  I did get my watch engraved.  I think it adds an even more special effect to a piece you will have forever and pass on to others.  My watch engraving says, “Journey Before Destination.”  It’s a quotation from a favorite book of mine that always resounded deeply with me.  Life is a journey, sometimes we forget that even though we have these goals we think we need to get to them immediately.  We are always off on the next thing, and sometimes forget to enjoy the journey.  This is the piece that’s so important.  If you get too wrapped up in where you are going, you may not admire what is around you.

Keep your eye on the Target

*DISCLAIMER*- I am not sponsored,  I just like to shop ;)  Target, the store full of cute things I probably don't need.  I go in to pick up my prescriptions and if I wander, I walk out spending at least 100 dollars.  This last prescription pickup *cough* shopping trip, I found some of my new favorite things.  These are different from the favorite things I got from target last month I'm sure 🙈.  I found these amazing carmel colored Espadrille wedges that were comfortable and so cute for 32.99.  I did half size down and they were perfect.  These shoes are by Universal Thread, a new adorable trendy Target brand.  Mind you these shoes are practically a dupe for the Nordstrom Marc Fisher wedges, or the Steve Madden wedges that are 3x the price.  If you want them I'll link them here Universal Thread Target Wedges The Second Amazing find was also a Universal Thread item.  I had been coveting finding the perfect crossbody round bag....

Pass the Popcorn! My Movie Pass Experience....

My husband and I were looking for a source of entertainment that wasn't overly costly to keep up our fun date night at a reasonable rate.  I'd heard bits and pieces of people talking about Movie Pass.  Movie pass is an app/card that you pay 9.99 a month and you can see one movie a day every day in theaters.  I thought it was too good to be true and naturally I took to the internet.  Unfortunately, tons of keyboard warriors were in uproar over this app.  They claimed to be wrongfully barred or resubscribed or whatever reason people complain about these days.  I don't know if their claims were valid but this has been my experience....      Once a week during the week, my husband and I get in the car and head to the movie theater.  Once we park we check in using the app and it loads a credit to the card you are issued be movie pass or gives you an eticket code.  We go to the counter and announce the movi...
